I've decided to open up the weblog archive. At one point is was closed off except to registered members due to an incident, However, that company has since closed its doors so they can just eat it. Use the search to find something that youmight be looking for. Maybe you'll find it.

1.3.2002
We've all made it through another year. 2001 has become 2002. Soon it'll be 2003 - can you believe it? I hope everyone had a happy and safe New Year.
Hmmm I don't know what else to talk about now. I need to get to work on some things. I'll talk more about them soon.

Message Boards are Open
Same old same old...
The search continues - without much luck yet. I've been helping Amy with some of her school work now that she is in the final stretch. I believe it's just 1 or 2 weeks left and then she'll be off for her break.
I think I'm gonna leave tastypopsicle.com alone for awhile. The message boards have been made and they work pretty good. At least I think they do.
It would be nice to see how it really stands up to constant use so if you want to see what it it's like join today
I've got some work to do and phone calls to make.

Come on! If you're visiting then you WANT to join! Mmmmm mesage boards. Just kidding - do whatever. It's probably lame anyway
I met with this guy named Mike from Watson Dwyer - a sort of recruiting firm if you will. I'm thinking of getting out of this internet thing (as a day job - not for good!) and have some fun with work. Fingers crossed!
Lord knows I NEED something to happen.

A New Job at Zephyr Media Group
Another whole week has passsed. When will I learn? I guess there is reason to write, though. I mean, something IS happening. Why else would I be up at 8a? I'm actually heading out the door (I have my jacket on already).
Today I start a temp-to-permenant job at this place called Zephyr Media Group. I'm not really sure what it is they'll have me doing. I do know, however, that it has NOTHING to do with the internet.
Sounds pretty good right now.
The pay is a lot less than before. But you take what you can get at times, right?
Working this, Adventist (under an hourly contract with Human Context - the fine folks who brought you DaVinci); the great idea with my friend, Eddie; and a site with the same guy.
I could use some more work though.
Talk to me if you're looking for something...

Things are going OK here in Chicago. Last night Amy, me and her two sisters caught a Blackhawks (hockey) game. Their father had 2 tickets but couldn't go so he gave the tickets to them and they also pitched in to pay for the other two tickets as well as some goodies during the game. Oh, AND parking was taken care of by them too.
so thanks... we had a good time, especially since the Blackhawks beat the Dallas Stars!! woo hoo!!!
I start my 2nd week (4th day) at Zephyr. My initial impressions have been posted in the Friends and Family message board. Have a look.
LOTS to do this week for eSquared and Human Context.
Busy Busy Busy.

It's Friday, I'm in love... mmm the 80's, you just can't beat it.
This week has been from one end, to the other, and back again. Very busy on a daily basis with Zephyr, Adventist, and the "startup company" stuff. Adventist should be live any day now. As soon as it is I'll post and let you know. In the meantime, the dog kennel site that I've been working on will be live next week. It could have been sooner but the guy is on vacation and there are some things that need to be resolved still.
Personally, financially, and relationship-wise : things are looking better. The stress of being unemployeed and pennyless can really make you go insane in many ways. And unfortunately those closest to you are often the ones that take the blunt end of it. You just have to keep reminding youself that you'll get through it - together.
Life is good, folks - not the BEST but good and it's looking even better. Sunday it's supposed to be 65° for the high!! Woo hoo!!
Don't forget to join the tastypopsicle.com system. It's slow now but growing.

What a weekend. There was a lot going on at home and away from home. The place got a good cleaning (which it so badly needed after some neglect) and we made it out to Mundeline to visit with Amy's family. We went and saw The Mothman Prophecies with Stephanie. Thankfully Amy sat between us so we had someone to grab on to during the scarier/suspenseful parts. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'm a wuss when it comes to these freaky kinds of movies. It's a VERY good movie, though and we all three highly recommend it. Afterwards, we stuck around and played a game with Amy's sister so we didn't head home til almost 1a.
And then on Sunday we slept in and then Amy visited with her mom while I worked on some Adventist stuff. What a beast! Not easy to do but gettin there.
Same old, same old for this week. Gotta get Adventist done and the stuff for e². Probably getiing together with an old friend, Mr. Hat, for some catch-up. Mmmmm beer.
Having a job and getting $PAID$ is good
