out to the 'burbs we go...
Today is Stephanie's confirmation party so the whole family (Amy's) is getting together for it. We're just finishing up here and then we'll head out for the rest of the day I imagine.
The past few days have been absolutely BEATIFUL here. It can't last much longer though... oh well, it's been nice leaving for and coming back from work every day so far.
Amy and I are doing extremely well, thanks for asking. Communication is very important to communicate if you want anything to work.
Speaking of talking I heard from my good friend from high school a couple days of go. It was nice to hear how she was doing and I think we made eachother laugh a little - thanks Carla

home sweet home - well, at least that's where I'm going now. I was supposed to get together with agent 641D tonight but without all of the necessary information in place it was decided that tomorrow might work better. And after working ALL day yesterday I was pretty whiped out and I know Amy was too. I made us dinner (at 11p) and then we went to bed pretty much. Tonight she's at school so I won't see her til later again. It actually kinda works out good that 641D and I can't get together cause I don't think Amy set the VCR for Felicity.
I should go home and check.
Anyway, all is good, if not VERY busy and unfortunately it will be...
BUT a huge, huge, HUGE congratulations to my good friend, Homer on his just-announced promtion to Art Director!! Whoo hoo! I'm very proud of you and what you've accomplished in a little over a year.

"Sometimes you wanna go where ev'rybody knows your name... and they're always glad you came." Actually, I never did care for "Cheers" that much. I dunno, something about it. The stories seemed flat - not much you can really do in one room with the same people I think. Gets a little old after awhile, don't you think?
So what does it all mean? Why, nothing - of course!
Work was busy busy - but no need to get into details. Too many different kinds of people are reading this (China, maybe?) so I stick to the more personal topics. Which, for example, include laundry tonight. Yep - good old "washing the sheets" trick.
Whatever, I managed to put my head on straight this morning and got "Friends" taped for Amy. Mr. Retard (an alter-ego of mine I suppose) showed up last night and I screwed up taping "Felicity". Rumor has it that Amy might be able to get last night's episode from someone she knows at school in exchange for past "Friends". I know, the suspense in killing me too!

A Brand New Face
WOW! What a night... look what I got done! I practically have a new site here. That's right folks - the tastypopsicle was LONG overdue for an overhaul so here it is. This is the start to the beginning of the future of tastypopsicle.com. It'll have all of the same cool stuff but there will be some new things as well such as registration to get un-posted information that you can't get anywhere else. And probably access to the cool apps that I make.
So I hope you like it... kinda neat, isn't it?

I can't believe that I even forgot to mention that we saw Monsters Inc. last Saturday! ohhhhh, it's such a great movie! You've gotta see it if you haven't seen it yet.

hee hee, soooo cute and fun and very, very enjoyable. Blows "Shrek" waaaayyy out of the water. And have you seen the figures? It's made $130M already and it's only been out for two weeks. The budget for the movie was only $100M so it's clipped that in just the short time. Not to mention all the merchandising and everything else that comes with a G rated movie.
DVD? you bet - as soon as it comes out, baby!

My baby just came home with 2 new CDs for me!!!
YEA!!! The new Sandra Collins - "Cream" and BTs 2 CD set - "R&R" (remixes and rarities). I can't wait to listen to them... and maybe, if you're lucky, I'll post some of the songs on electric ice.

I know it's almost Wednesday already but you know me - I always seem to be a little behind. What a fun weekend we had, though. We decided to drive up to Rockford, IL with Kristen and Cooper to see the meteor shower with Nathan and his housemates - Jen and Mike. It was sooooo cloudy and foggy, though, so we couldn't see much. But around 3.15a the sky opened up and we were able to catch a few passing by over head. But, then it clouded up again.
It was still a great idea nevertheless.
Turkey day is just 2 days away...

Ok, so I'm sure everyone else had a very busy Thanksgiving weekend, too. From Wednesday night on there seemed to be something going on. In no particular order, although I'll attempt to put it in a chronological order if I can remember ::
Amy's sister spent the night on Wednesday so I picked her up from the train station after work. Up late watching TV.
Thursday - Thanksgiving. Country Inn Buffet with turkey loaf and corn bread stuffing. It all reminded me of freshman year college meal plans. We spent all day with Amy's family and we were soooo tired by the end of the day.
There was no way I was going to go shopping on Friday. Kristen and Cooper came over for dinner. It was a very nice evening. Went out for Chad's 29th birthday afterwards. Mixed too much. Just felt ugghhhh.
Saturday was a day of rest for a little bit. Saw Monster's Inc. with Amy and Stephanie. It's very good the 2nd time around too. Still highly recommended. Had to pick up Nathan and Mike from the train station and they hung out at our place for awhile. We just watched TV - nothing exciting at all. Dropped them off at the train station and met up with Kristen and Cooper. Hung out with them for the rest of the night.
Sunday I cleaned. Amy took care of the errands. And she bought a few games that we've wanted - Connect Four, Life, and she got some Titanic game for $6. She whooped my butt at Connect Four all night. And she almost beat me in Chess. Very close, but good game.
Monday - gotta work, y'all.
