I've decided to open up the weblog archive. At one point is was closed off except to registered members due to an incident, However, that company has since closed its doors so they can just eat it. Use the search to find something that youmight be looking for. Maybe you'll find it.

I'm a mutant
Blue eyes result of ancient genetic 'mutation'
Some 6,000 to 10,000 years ago brown eyes, which were the norm, started to turn blue.
“Originally, we all had brown eyes”, said Prof Hans Eiberg from the University of Copenhagen, who led the team.
Blue eye colour most likely originated from the near east area or northwest part of the Black Sea region, where the great agriculture migration to the northern part of Europe took place in the Neolithic periods about six–10,000 years ago.
The most fascinating part of story comes in the last sentence.
...we can conclude that all blue-eyed individuals are linked to the same ancestor.
Heavy.
I need to update my Javascript Dropshadow
Over night my contribution to the Onion Skinned Javascript Dropshadow technique was linked up at a new site, CSS Gallery. Unfortunately, the technique is O-L-D and could use some sprucing up. In fact, I need to update it to work with Mootools anyway so I would expect that you should see an update (at least for use with Mootools) by the end of the month if not sooner.
In the meantime, if you've come from CSS Gallery and you have some questions about using it please let me know.
Throwing Away Broken Electronics
The HOTTEST boom-boxes. Period.
Oh, and they're giving away the MP3 -
Meanest Man Contest : Throwing Away Broken Electronics
And I hope to be rockin' this shirt as seen in the video.
ReMix: Super Mario 64 'Fleeting Ecstasy'
Oh, this is good! If you haven't heard of OverClocked ReMix you must check them out. Founded in 1999, OverClocked ReMix is an organization dedicated to the appreciation, preservation, and interpretation of video game music. Remixed Video Game Muisc = HOTT!
This all has to do with me seeing this post over at Engadget - What if Super Mario Galaxy was on the SNES?. Having played Super Mario Galaxy and personally owning an original SNES I had my own idea of what it would be like. Luckily there was a video to back up my suspicions.
Did you hear that?! That hott video game music remix?! It was made by Ben Briggs (aka "chthonic") and it's called "Fleeting Ecstasy". The music is available from the OverClocked Remix website... but you know that's not how I roll.
eNjoy! Super Mario 64 "Fleeting Ecstasy" by chthonic
