April Fool's Day! I don't know what that's all about and I apologize. I've been looking at what Glish.com has posted as sites that he looks at and I just feel so small now... these people know what's up. I'm excited to get into some of this CSS soon. It's exactly the type of thing I want to do but I just hadn't found a direction for it. I believe I've found it now.

Oh, and check out "Cyber Lovah" from iFilm.com. Careful, it uses some potty mouth stuff but I found it amusing. Working in the media business now it's a great spoof on an infomercial. Actually, it looks like a short form rather than long form.


Look real soon for links - I think that'll make a good addition to the site as well as Rants and Raves where I just go off on people, places, and things. Working on the DB and front end for that....

... a week later. Yea, I know it's been a week, but like I care. *sigh* It was a good week even if we did lose an hour of sleep (Damn you daylight savings!) The Cubs game on Saturday was ridiculously cold and of course the Cubbies lost. Ah well, plenty of libations to go around. And although we were planning on going out to RedNo Saturday night we never made it out as the bed looked soooooooo comfortable.
The week itself was kinda uneventful. Standard work that needed to be done as well as the extra stuff. I'm really hoping that it'll all be over in the next couple of weeks.

Oh, and "Ice Age" is a good movie, don't get me wrong. It's just too short and really only aimed towards kids. There wasn't any adult humor hidden in it anywhere. For $5 it was fine (and free popcorn and parking). Catch it on KaZa if you can - just don't pay more than $5 for it.

Speaking of the internet - Go to Yahoo and check out the online games. I've taken a liking to chess as well as learning Go. If you're bored you can even play Go Fish with someone in Russia I bet.

tastypopsicle.com is growing - even if it is slowly. I thought I'd add some links and other "interesting" things to the old site - gives it a little more kick I guess. Yes, it may seem lame but EVERYONE'S doing it I say! Just a bit behind the times. Obviously it will change as my preferences change. If you have some cool sites that you know about pass them along and I'll check them out. AND I'm looking for some new mp3s. If you've got some good music pass them a long too.

Amy and I are heading out of town (Naperville - wherever that might be) for a Self Employment in the Arts Conference. We're both hoping it's worth our time. A little bit of networking and getting to know people : should be good.

Oh, and CrAzY bitch woman almost hit me this morning on my way to work. Damn her!

This Saturday can't come soon enough I fear. Triple Crown 2002 will have finally arrived! And I imagine it'll be a good night. Amy and I have a thousand things going on this week but then again, when don't we?
The conference this past weekend was prtty cool. It was so college but it was fun nevertheless. And I think the girls probably learned something useful.
Oh, and it's Africa HOT here in Chicago! Whewwwwwwwww! Sweaty and icky and ughhhhh. I noticed that most of the US is getrting hit with this heatwave. It's not going to be around for this weekend, though. BAH! When can I go swimming? Excuse me while I go hose myself down now.

Ok, it WAS Africa hot last week... now it's Chicago cold all over again! I can't take this. I'm going to move to Mexico I think. I'll have to check the weather there fist, although I bet Cancun is a great place nowadays - maybe even Tijuana...

Triple Crown was great. Got to see a lot of people I hadn't in awhile including Homer. Needless to say, after the concert was over at 2a we managed to chill at our place. Greg, errrr Jeremy even showed up for a little bit. I apologize for my play-by-play of "Searching for Bobby Fischer". I don't know what got into me.

As for myself - guess what, I'm very busy - surprise! The projects have begun to pile up and I don't see a break for a couple of weeks at least. But I guess it's all worth it in the end, right Amy?

Lazy Sunday. Saturday was a very lazy day. We really didn't do much of anything - but in our own defense it was a terrible day outside. It was raining and pouring all day. I believe there was even some thunder and lightening at times. It was raining a lot this morning and although it still seems gloomy outdoors at least it stopped raining. There's enough to do around the house and we have homework and work to do. The lazy day is over...
