I've decided to open up the weblog archive. At one point is was closed off except to registered members due to an incident, However, that company has since closed its doors so they can just eat it. Use the search to find something that youmight be looking for. Maybe you'll find it.

More CTA Google Map News
It must seem like my CTA Google Map is the only thing I got going for me. If that's what you think then you're off to a good start.
But seriously, since being mentioned under Merge at Gapers Block on July 24, 2006 there has been a more renewed interest in the map. Having added a Find Address field to the map seems to have done the trick.
This week, Chicago-L.org, a wonderful website detailing the history of the Chicago L, added my CTA Google map to the Links. I think that this new link-up helps to validate the need for an officially sanctioned map from the Chicago Transit Authority.
In the meantime I hope that you find the map useful and as always I look forward to your comments and suggestions

Do you accept Hello Kitty?
If they accept Visa then they can most certainly accept the new Hello Kitty MBNA Platinum Credit Card
I should get this card just so I can purchase the Hello Kitty Chess Set with it.
F-you Comcast and F-you Cingular
F-Comcast. What is this shit?
My upload is only 210kps?! WTF?! I'm getting throttled here...
And don't get me started with Cingular Wireless. The ads have been claiming that they have the fewest dropped calls of any other carrier based on an independant survey from a company called Telephia. However, Telephia refused to provide any information about the study. Back on April 23, 2006 Boston Globe reporter Bruce Mohl wrote that although Cingular is making this claim it's completely outrageous and impossible for anyone to verify.
The only thing that I can verify is that my phone and Amy's phone continually drop calls and it's been getting worse recently. So bad that we avoid using the mobile phones except for incoming calls. Otherwise it's Skype and/or Vonage. That's a big F-you to you, Cingular.

Death to CAPS LOCK = Brilliant!
What a great idea. Why do we need the Caps Lock key? CAPSoff, as reported in Wired magazine's online edition on August 16, is a campaign created by Pieter Hintjens, the CEO of iMatix.
The CAPS key is an abomination. We all know that. It's a huge key, stuck right there where the Ctrl used to be, and as far as I know, it's only used by 419 scammers and Fortran programmers.Very true. Although Pieter's efforts may seem silly at first glance this should at least make you go "hmmmm":
The Capsoff movement's primary target is the device manufacturer. "Obviously the keyboard producers have been so indoctrinated that they don't even inspect their own products any longer," Hintjens writes. "Listen, dudes: No one wants that crummy Caps key. It's history."They don't even inspect their own product. The keyboard hasn't changed even though the way we use it has changed dramtically. Why don't manufactures recognize that and do something about it.
GTalk finally has file transfer
From the Official Google Blog:
File transfer - This has consistently been the top requested feature, and we've worked hard to make the experience simple, fast, and fun. You can share any type of file, several at a time if you like. We think the photo sharing experience is especially fun.Thank you
Free Wifi at the Anabelle Hotel
We're in Burbank, CA at the Anabelle Hotel about ready to check out and head up North to our final destinantion - San Francisco. Las Vegas was where we initially began this West Coast tour and after we donated some money to Sin City we drove to the L.A./Burbank area for a couple of days.
While I'm sure that we all have enjoyed Vegas and L.A. I know that we're really looking forward to 4 days in San Francisco.
Gotta go!
