Why not have a little fun, right? I needed to create a message board system for my own records and it's a fun database challenge considering it needs to link with the users and the topics AND the messages. It can do a lot (and more?) than your standard message boards can do. You can add returns and emoticons and I dunno - whatever else.

What I've also done is added access levels and as a user you're given an access level. Now, it's not to be mean or anything but there are some things I'm just more comfortable leaving private - the tastypopsicle scandle or 10.3.2001 is the EXACT reason why. If you have access to a message board you'll see a link that says READ:POST right under the description. Otherwise - well, you can't get in to see what all the fuss is about.

The rules ::
01. Only I can add topics - it just makes sense. If you'd like to see a new topic let me know.
02. You can read and post messages so long as you have access privilages to those topics.
03. You have to be a tastypopsicle.com member to post. Learn more about how to become one.

That's about it. Oh, and I can do whatever the hell I want. This is my toy, my baby, I've built it so I'm just protecting myself while adding more to this growing site.
